New York D029 by echomrg New York D029 by echomrg
This is the last set of pictures from new york from the trip i made to the USA for new year's eve.
I took something like 450 pictures (i won't publish them all, don't worry :P) and this is just a small selection, chronologically speaking.
These are from little italy, chinatown and the brooklin bridge...

cheers
M

Yet another Image that caught my attention.
Love the angles, and everything one sees.

Interesting how it's all pulling towards the american flag.
I really love the movement of this image. that's what drew me to it in the first place. it's very well done. :D

The fact it's so tall makes it very intregeing as well. of course. i always want to see more. :blushes:
That's mee.
For some reason. my eye is never happy with the way your lines of movement end in some of these. they sometimes feel to durastic. and sharp..

grey ness is great. then to the white clouds. but i do think they are too white. not enough depth to them
I like how the image is mainly grey, blue and wite. but then the american flag brings in a spurt of red.

woOt. great image!

again, this was a quick shot too, and i didn't have much time to meter the lighting... and there was a very weird light... the bridge itself was in shadow, probably from the nearby buildings or some cloud, but the sun was really bright and the clouds really luminous. so it was difficult to have both the clouds and the bridge in the correct light...

well... i really like the lines drawing to the flag, in the center... somewhere i read something about that, guiding the eye of the viewer to a specific point, with the lines of the object your portraing... this time it was really easy ;)
i feel that in this picture the fact that the lines points and ends so sharply it's ok, they are "complete" in the way they are, they already "told" you everything they had to "say"

love

I love the contours =) A very unique shot. I like it. As if it really was 3D! The US flag gives it a good tourist kick. I like!
