I waited after last week's election to post this to avoid any further exposition for the party behind the poster, but this is really something the world needs to see.
For all you lucky people that can't understand the writings the text says: "They suffered immigration, now they live in reserves".
This is an ad from the Italian party "lega nord" a xenofobic, right wing, populistic force that plagues the italian political scene from 1989.
I think i don't really need to explain on how many levels this is embarassing. But i want to note the irony of such a poster from someone who stands for capitalism, free market and everything the "western civilization" stands for...
The very sad thing is that they won last elections.

Quando l'ho visto a Perugia (dove studio), m'è presa una tristezza unica...pensavo di essere scappata da queste cose una volta uscita dal Veneto. Ma, a quanto pare, pure in Umbria la lega va forte...e la cosa triste è che siamo a sud del Po.
