This is the Enrico Toti submarine, being transported to her final resting place in Milano technology museum.
Simply transporting the 340tons beast in the heart of the city, about 70Km from the closest body of water and 200Km from the open sea it's been quite a technological feat. They had to carefully choose a way avoiding bridges and underpasses, lowering aerial power lines and creating temporary bridges where the transport had to pass over underground stations. The event was followed by about 150K people on the streets (considering that it was 14th august it means that almost everybody still not on vacation was there )
